Job Description
As a Technical Program Manager at JIACO Instruments, your work will sit right at the intersection of engineering, coordination and communication. You’ll take ownership of project timelines, technical documentation, and stakeholder collaboration—freeing up our CTO to focus on innovation, and our CEO on growth. This role offers flexibility in time and place, giving you ownership over how you get things done.

What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll bring structure and momentum to our technical projects. You’ll manage and track the progress of internal R&D and product development efforts, making sure that milestones, deliverables, and timelines stay aligned. As the primary operational point of contact for external stakeholders—such as suppliers, research partners, and subcontractors—you’ll help ensure that everyone stays on the same page.
You’ll work closely with the CTO and the technical team to coordinate decision-making processes and support the execution of project-related tasks owned by both the CTO and CEO (excluding strategic content). Along the way, you’ll be expected to identify risks and project dependencies, and to propose smart, practical solutions when needed.
Because we work remotely, clear and structured documentation is essential. You’ll play a key role in organizing project information and making sure knowledge is shared effectively across the team.
What You Bring
- A BSc or MSc in engineering, physics, mechatronics or a related technical field;
- 5+ years of experience in project/program managent;
- A hands-on approach—you’re comfortable getting involved in testing, planning and documentation;
- Strong communication skills and the ability to keep multiple stakeholders aligned;
- A structured mindset and a talent for organizing complex work;
- Experience in a scale-up or tech-heavy environment is a plus.

- Location: primarily a work-from-home position, with occasional on-site testing in Eindhoven or Delft.
- Work schedule: 24-40 hours, with flexible scheduling to accommodate both business needs and your availability.
